Careers Advice: Life After Dunottar

As each girl passes through the Senior School we prepare her for the next stage, looking carefully at choices for GCSE and A Level, providing a week of work experience for Year 11 and exploring the world of work through our careers programme.

In the Sixth Form, in order to prepare the girls for the next stage of their education and for their career decisions, we run a well-planned programme with all the necessary information available in the well equipped Careers Room. The staff give advice on choices, application procedures and presentational and interview skills. The majority of Sixth Formers at Dunottar go on to university but our aim is to help each student to choose the course or career that is best for her.
