CELEBRATION OF A SUCCESSFUL YEAR
Pupils, parents, staff and trustees from Dunottar Girls’ School, Reigate celebrated another successful year at their annual Prize Giving ceremony at the Dorking Halls on Thursday, 10 th September.
The highlights of the school year were included in the Headmistress’ report. Girls also added to the report to fill in the details of events such as the visit to Barcelona and the Year 9 team building day at Hindleap Warren Outdoor Education Centre.
The guest Speak, Dr Zahra Ameen is a former Dunottar pupil who is now a Senior Registrar in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
The evening belonged especially to the Upper Sixth leavers. As Mrs Hellier, the Headmistress, said: “A charming, colourful and considerate group of young women who have contributed so much to the life of Dunottar School. Congratulations on all your achievements and best wishes for the future. Work hard, but don’t lose your love of life. Make sure that throughout your life you continue to aim high. For as C S Lewis once wrote: “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream”.”
