Scholarships
Academic Scholarships
11+ and 13+ scholarships will be awarded to those girls who reach the highest standard in the entrance tests. 13+ scholarships are also open to internal candidates. Academic Scholarships are effective for five and three years respectively.
16+ scholarships will be awarded to those girls who reach a high standard in the scholarship papers. These papers are open to internal and external candidates. Each candidate will take three papers, a general scholarship paper and two from a choice of subjects.
All candidates will automatically be considered for Academic Scholarships.
Art & Design Scholarships
13+ and 16+ Art & Design Scholarships are offered to new and current pupils who show exceptional talent and promise in either Art, or Design Technology, or both. These scholarships are effective for five and two years respectively to the end of the Upper Sixth.
Date of 13+ and 16+ Assessments: Monday, 9th November 2009.
Applications must be submitted to the Headmistress by: Friday, 16th October 2009.
Music Scholarships
11+, 13+ and 16+ Music Scholarships are offered to new and current pupils who show exceptional talent and promise in Music. These scholarships are effective for seven, five and two years respectively to the end of the Upper Sixth. The scholarship includes free tuition in one musical instrument.
Date of 11+ Auditions: Tuesday, 12th January 2010.
Applications must be submitted to the Headmistress by: Friday, 11th December 2009.
Date of 13+ and 16+ Auditions: Tuesday, 17th November 2009.
Applications must be submitted to the Headmistress by: Friday, 16th October 2009.
Sports Scholarships
11+, 13+ and 16+ Sports Scholarships are offered to girls who show exceptional talent and promise in at least two sports. These scholarships are effective for seven, five and two years respectively to the end of the Upper Sixth.
Date of 11+ Assessment: Monday, 11th January 2010.
Applications must be submitted to the Headmistress by: Friday, 11th December 2009.
Date of 13+: Assessment: Tuesday, 3rd November 2009.
Date of 16+: Assessment: Thursday, 19th November 2009.
Applications must be submitted to the Headmistress by: Friday, 16th October 2009.
